DH is thinking of getting an Apple Watch for me for my birthday. Can anyone tell me what they're like.

I love mine.

I can check texts/WhatsApp’s and emails without getting phone out of bag
I have my shopping list on it so I can wander round with the list on my wrist marking things off as I get them
My tasks are on there and I can mark them as done

I have a photo of my dad and his sister on there- she died recently and I love looking at them

I am useless with technology so probably don’t use it to its full potential

DH has one and loves it.

I bought him a leather strap so that it looked less apple-y. Though he does use the original one to go to the beach.

Thank you. I must admit I do feel quite excited.

Its great! For all the reasons about seeing calls, texts, emails etc. DH & I love the fitness stuff. We never had fitbits before so don't miss all the things those do.

Wouldn't be without it one year in.

I loved mine. Unfortunately it went through the washing machine and smashed into hundreds of pieces. I really want another one.

I love mine, I got it in January 2017 and I really think it's improved my fitness. I regularly achieve the goals set for activity and moving. I like that it's waterproof so I can use it for swimming.

Like others I like seeing my messages, calls etc. on it.

Thank you all. We're going to go for it. One last question do I pay the extra for cellular?Smile

I'm looking to get a new Apple Watch too and also can't decide whether to go for the cellular or not. Trying to figure out what the overall benefit is

I've got my watch and I love it. The battery life is a bit short but so far that's my only complaint. I've got the cellular. It means I don't have to take my phone when I'm out with the dogs.
