New Kindle - transfer from old?

Can I transfer my favourite reads from my old Kindle to a new one? I have the first generation kindle and it's slowly dying. I'm liking the new paper white but I really want to shift some favourite reads across. Do able?

You can manage your content and devices from the Amazon website and once the new kindle is added to your account you can use the website to send whichever books to your new device.

Yes. My original kindle died. I got a new one and registered it on the same account and sent everything to new kindle.
If you have downloaded content from other places to your kindle that will not be available.

Yes, absolutely doable.

You do it via Amazon, in 'Manage your content and devices'. Very easy, just select the titles you want to transfer and then the device you want to transfer to.
