Free email account recommendations

I need to set up an email address to handle correspondence for a specific project. Can anyone recommend one which is straightforward, secure and professional looking please.

Gmail is as good as any and is being revamped to look more professional.

Yes - I manage about 5 via the app. You just add account and then can flip between them.

When you say secure and your working on project related stuff, depending on the nature of the work (i.e. handling personal data) it may be a recommendation to use proton mail - protonmail.com/ a free version comes with 500MB storage, as an alternative suggestion to one of the popular ones out there.
