Posting this as my DH thinks this could be life-ruining if we get it wrong...
our 2 ds's are still a bit young but are completely crazy for Star Wars Lego so DH and I have been debating in readiness for them being the right age to watch Star Wars -should they start with the original 3 (as we did) or should they start at Episode 1? Our main dilemma is the original trilogy was amazing and DH thinks they should start with that but we wonder if they start with that it spoils a lot of the newest trilogy? Or should the story be followed through from start to finish, episodes 1 through to 6? But then for example: wouldn't, when Luke finds out who his father is in the 2nd trilogy, it be spoilt by the new trilogy being watched first. If they watch the newest trilogy first would their imagination be captured as well as it would if they watch the original (and best) trilogy first?
We didn't get the option, so if you have the option what would/did you do? I've given up waiting for the force to show us the way
