Settings for kindle fire for a 12 yr old

DD has just used her birthday money to buy a fire tablet. She is too old for the kindle for kids content but we still want to put a lot of controls in place mostly to stop her spending money on apps. How do we share content with her and allow her to download the free apps but not allow her to use our one click ordering as it is linked to our account and credit card - massively confused.

Open an amazon account for her this is what I did for my son and you can take off one click ordering through the amazon app. I think also on the kindle settings you can put on parental controls which then will ask for your permission for apps to be downloaded with a password and also I think you can click on another setting to only be allowed to download free apps, be careful though there are some really bad apps that look child friendly but are not just research first 😀😀

Ok thanks - DD is pretty sensible but is still 12! I'll look into that... Thanks
