And I don't know how to get them back on there.

On Amazon, it says I still have them, Ibut they aren't on my kindle. I appreciate that over the years, what with a variety of laptop mishaps, new phones, and now a kindle, I've got several, kindle devices, but this is my actual, reading books only device, and its got nothing on it. How do I get them back? Totally lost.

Can you go to your amazon account and resend them to the kindle?

Shinygoldbauble · 12/03/2018 23:48

Was about to say the same thing. I had an old kindle that died. I bought a new one and i had the option to send to Kindle2

Sorry, posted too soon. Meant to say i had the option to send once the new kindle was registered on the account.

If they're in your amazon account you should be able to just resend them to your kindle.

In Amazon go to Departments > Kindles > Manage Content to see a list of your books. Tick to select each one then click Deliver and select the device you want to send them to.

I will try that. It says it is still registered to me, and according to my amazon account, I have all the books, just not on that device. Why would they suddenly all disappear? I've synced it again, and they didn't reappear

They will be listed in Manage my Devices. You can click to open them and then have the option to send them to your Kindle.

Thank you. Its successfully delivered it. But Why? why do this. Sometimes I like to read on other devices, like my phone or laptop . There isn't even an email/support thing on amazon for kindle to speak to.
