Pleeeease help with getting pgi camera to laptop, pleeease!

Can anyone help me get pics from my Cannon SF230 onto my laptop which uses pile of poo Vista?

I have the connecting lead but do not have necessary drivers nor any disc with necessary software. Cannon site does not provide downloadable drivers for this model either.

Does anyone know (as an alternative) about how to use infra red or bluetooth to send pics from mobile to laptop?

Bluetooth is easier than infrared IME.

Does your laptop have a built in card reader? - quite a few do these days.

Have you tried just connecting the camera and the laptop via the lead (with the camera switched on)? I don't have Vista but that's all it takes on XP to start the wizard off that helps you copy your photos across.

Thanks all - unfortunately my camera is not yet supported by Vista so I can't do it.
