How do I get rid of this then?

This bill keeps popping up on our PC. It's from "Micro Bill Systems" and wants to charge us £39.99 for "My Sex World - Gold"

We've ignored it and just keep closing it but it's starting to annoy me. We've got Norton and AOL are supposed to have some sort of blockers. Do I need to adjust something?

I'm presuming this is just a malicious pop-up, rather than an actual request....
You could install StopZilla which has an Spyware and Adware removal tool and pop-up blocker. Also, if you use Firefox rather than IE as a browser, it has very good pop-up blocking too..

Well missrible, you made me laugh and DrDaddy used words I don't understand (), so when the pop up started freezing my computer for a couple of minutes at a time and indicatd that it was only going to get worse, I googled it and it turned out to be a rather nasty trojan thing which can destroy your computer. Eeek!

I've handed this over to DH who does all our PC stuff,he's used something call PrevX and whilst that crashed the machine he ended up taking the battery out, (??!!) it seems to have got rid of the blessed Micro Bill Systems thing from our desktop, which we weren't able to manually delete.

Very scary stuff.
