Apple Support now off line! Can Anyone advise me please?

I’ve had an issue with my I phone 7 that apple thought would be fixed by doing a factory reset.
We did that this afternoon and I then did what they advised me re setting up as a new device and its working fine, ie the original problems that I was having are no longer there.

So now I wish to restore the phone and get my old settings, contacts and apps etc.
How do I do that please?

I spoke to Apple on sunday and it turns out that by doing the icloud back up they believe that the fault, which had gone by doing the reset, would come back. So I've had to stick with setting it up again Bit of a pita but hey ho.
