Please help - can't work this out!

I got a new iPhone last month and today I realised that all the new contacts I have added since I got my new phone are appearing as Hotmail / outlook contacts on an email account I have on my phone. This email account is for a company I work for which other people have access too so clearly this isnt great!

I have tried deleting the email account and re adding it but when I re add it the contacts appear in the email contact list again.

I'm assuming it's a sync issue but I can't find out how to stop the sync!

Im sorry, I have no idea, but giving you a little bump.

Settings - accounts & passwords then go into that account and turn off the contacts. That should do it.

While trying to fix it I managed to delete all my iphone contacts - disaster!

Can I do a restrore from back up to reinstate my contacts?

My friend just experienced this problem and I asked him. This is a solution to find deleted iPhone contacts ( www.joyoshare.com/recover-ios-data/find-deleted-iphone-contacts.html ). Hope you can also get what you need back as him.
