Dp is interested in a career change and would like to do an Aplus certification in IT,does anyone know where he could do this?
Not available at college/local uni as far as we know.
Is the qualification a good one for accessing jobs in the industry?
Thanks

Hi Kaloo20,

There is still huge buzz about ITIL and Prince2.
I myself am thinking of going for the ITIL training and certification.
Can anyone guide me in selecting the best training provider?

I thin Domm.... has a great point about learning Excel, but i would be mroe specific and say Excel VBA. For the simple reason that 99% of people know that excel can do more than what they use it for, but its only the remaining 1% that know how to do it. Its so easy to find work this way so much so that even being able to do vlookup will get you work. When i first started contracting and i was struggling to get oracle work which is what i'm certified for i could always walk into any Excel VBA job. Its a great starting point.
