IOS update has destroyed my phone’s volume.

iPhone 6. Updated to latest iOS the other day. Apart from the fact it’s totally fucked up my calendars, the Volume is showing maximum but I can’t hear ring tone, callers’ voice, alarm. It is useless as a phone now. What do I do?

Looked in settings, and the ringer and tone alerts has reverted to very low, since the update . I turned it back up and all seems to be ok.
