My original hotmail.com email address that I had had ever since I was 17 or so was hacked in 2013 and I opened another one as I could not get back into the original. I opened a dot co dot uk in early 2014.
I get the usual daily emails from Joules, New Look, Booking.com, Groupon (at least 5 a day, I think) a gym I once joined in 2015, a daiky email from businesses for sale, Gumtree, Etsy, easyjet, Crabtree & Evelyn, Amazon, John Lewis, Boden ... basically anywhere I have ordered from online in the last 4 years. I delete them when they come in as I hate a messy inbox!
Buf now I also get up to twenty emails a day from gambling sites, lotteries, survery sites and so on. Combined with the above junk, my phone is constantly buzzing. I have had to delete the outlook app as although it was good once it now appears to be sending everything through the important filter. I am job hunting and fhe noise gets me excited. Such a letdown!
Unsubscribing doesn't work as it is cutting off the head. I get MORE emails when I unsubscribe!
Do I need to bite the bullet and start afresh with a new email address? And any reccommendations?
