I was watching the 50th anniversary episode and once again, Patrick Moore was wearing the same tie that he always wears. What was intriguing was that the person impersonating him to commemorate the first broadcast of the programme was also wearing the same tie.
Does anyone know if the tie is significant or is it just a case that it is the only tie that he has ever worn for this programme?
