Any wise words for this issue would be so gratefully received.
I have not had personally any social media for over 5 years for personal safety reasons. I've now been asked by the company I work for to set up and run a FB page. It will be done via a work email.
But I'm slightly paranoid that my past bastard ex will catch up with me...am I worrying unnecessarily , can you give me any tips on how to safeguard?
Many thanks

Can you ask them to allocate you a non-name email to set the page up with? For example, [email protected] or whatever?

I think because it will be advertising goods for sale, events etc I would need to use the company email, I'm not worried anyone would be able to pinpoint me from the email but am concerned that when I attempt to set this up it may require my name etc , if that makes sense ?

I appreciate your choice about social media, though, I've just read the book (tome) "Future Crimes"by the author Marc Goodman -- highly recommended actually. Ask to have a non-name functional email address and not your own, as suggested, as the function in future years might be run by someone else, not you (that is when you've advanced to some other role).
