My Lenovo PC won't start up - I switched it in, and it goes to the Lenovo start up screen and just stays there doing nothing.
I have tried a hard power-off and switching it back on again, switching it off and on again at the mains, ctrl-alt-del, using the F keys, and some fairly creative swearing, but no joy.
Dh says it may be a big Windows 10 update, but would that make it stick on the opening screen, with no indication of an update?
I can use the iPad for most of what I need/want to do, but would still like to get the PC up and running again - preferably before dh comes home, so he can't waltz in and do something simple and obvious I could have done, and make me look like a complete muppet. He's not back until tomorrow night, so I have time to try to solve this.
