Taking photos 6x4

I'm taking a lot of photos on my I phone recently since littkevone was born - having to crop I phone images as they take and print at 6x4.5. Is there a way of setting the phone to take pictures in 6x4 rather than cropping all the time?

I don't think the native Camera app allows you to change the aspect of the photos you take, but this thread on the Apple forum suggests you can use a different camera app to do so.

The name of the app the poster mentions is a bit vague, but a Google/App Store search will probably bring up one, or another poster may know of one.
