Can anyone suggest things to try to stop my computer crashing?

I'm having problems again . Originally I couldn't get the computer to recognise the cardbus was there, now I've solved that (god knows how though ), and whenever I plug it in the computer crashes.

Anyone know what I have to check or change to sort it out? I'm presuming its a memory problem or something??? I need pointing in the right direction.

Sounds like you have the wrong driver installed. I would search google or similar for the make and model of cardbus and try downloading the driver again and then try to connect the cardbus again.
