How to do a link to a photo

How do I link a photo to show on a thread please ?
I am looking for a specific item. I saw a picture online of it and would like to post it on a thread.

One way is to copy the address by right clicking and then clicking on the "copy address" option, then posting that address.

Yes I know its long and there is a geeky way, but i only know this way. lol

If I want to attach a photo from my photo library to a post on Mumsnet I am asked to give permission to Mumsnet to access my photo library.
Is this permission for the 1 photograph or does Mumsnet then have access to all the photos in my photo library on my phone.
Please excuse my stupidity if it is blindingly obvious to you.
I am, sadly a Luddite when it comes to technology.
