Wii u help please

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here goes anyway.

Have searched on Google but thst has just confused me even more.

If you have a wii u with the hand held thingy with the screen.. can you then use an additional screen thingy?

Eg, one person using the console on the TV and the 2 using a screen controller thingy each?

As far as I know you can only have 1 screen controller connected and additional players use the normal wii u remotes

you an only have one screen thingy (gamepad) and then normal will controllers and or the Xbox/PlayStation type controllers. So when we play on it one person has gamepad, one has Xbox style controller and other 2 have the standard Wii controllers.

They also play quite a lot of 2 player games where one person looks at the screen on the gamepad and controls that and other person is playing watching the tv and controlling with one of the standard controllers or the Xboxy one.

I have included a picture for you as I used to find this confusing too.

I don't think you can buy them separately in the UK anyway

I don't think it's technically possible to connect a second screen gamepad as it's the central place.to configure settings etc so theres only one per system.
