Iphone 5

So DD needs a phone as the brick she had has died. DH has iphone 5 and thinking of giving her that but have been hearing rumours that with phone 7 coming out apple may longer support iphone 5 so may be better getting her eg a motorola. Anyone know if thats true or indeed any other reason why

What do you mean by 'apple may no longer support iPhone 5'?

Many people genuinely prefer the 5 to the 6 and wouldn't fork out for the 7.

The 5 will still be able to get software updates, etc

Thank you. I know nothing about phones but twas what someone else said to me so thought i shoukd check. No idea what it means either!!!

the software updates are for the operating system. They only stopped updating the 3GS last year so you'll probably be ok with the 5 for a couple of years yet.
