Why might my Motorola be playing up?

Having real issues with my Motorola G 3rd gen. It's less than a year old and already been repaired once.

Keeps going blank and is non responsive to the power button . Starts again by itself after about 5 mins.

Battery keeps draining quickly.

Really slow .

I only have a few apps on it and have restarted it but hasn't seemed to help.

I'm hoping I don't have to send it back again..

Any ideas?

My Samsung started doing this, all the time (once I had to physically take the battery out and put it back in as our was completely dead and not responding to anything), and it turned out it was MyFitnessPal, which I'd used before but in an older version. Just the fact that it was installed! I thought I was going to have to get a new phone. It's a faff, but if you only have a few apps on there, could you try deleting them just to rule that out as a problem?
