Can you help me with buying the right Xbox please?

DS wants an Xbox for his birthday. I haven't got a clue where to start. Should I get the one with 1TB of memory? Is it worth the extra money? And what about kinect? The new one is out of my budget. Thanks.

Yes to the bigger memory no to the Kinect. None of us have kinects and manage fine.

I agree with gamer we have kinesthetic for the xbox 360 which was never used so we didn't bother with the xbox one.
