Somethings odd about DD's iPhone storage, can anyone help?

We are going through all the things that should make her storage bigger and each time she deletes something the amount of spare storage goes down not up

Any idea what could be happening?

she thinks she only has an 8 - tesco is how she checks how much data/minutes she has left

I think it's emails - we have been deleting them for the past hour & she is up to 1.9

if she deletes all her emails off her phone will they still be on the computer?

Depends on your email settings, my personal one is set to mimic the access on the PC. My work emails I delete on my iPhone but they are still svailable on my work PC. However my Ds set up my phone for me so can't be of much more help.
