How should I store home videos?

I upload them to my account on photo box, and was saving them to a disc.
Because it was re-written it ended up corrupting.

What is the best way to store home videos?

You can try dropbox. But for a free user you get 2 GB of cloud space. Also, you might want to try google drive, but the upload itself is kinda slow, especially if your videos are going to be more than 50MB. I honestly am not a fan to cloud storage, I feel a little insecure, like my privacy is at level 0. That's why I use USB Flash Drives(Would recommend Kingston as a brand).

If you have a lot of photographs then an external drive would be best
