I've bought the replacement but when I lookedon you tube for INstructions it looks so complicated.
Id be ok taking it apart it's the putting it back that looks complicated, all those tiny screws.
Anyone got any suggestions for how to keep the screws in order and remembering where they go etc?

We cocked it up. We'd done an iPad and that went quite well but the iPhone was 100x more complicated. So many screws of different tiny sizes.

Some of the 'youngsters' Grin in work have had it replaced vey cheaply at a local street market or timpsons the key cutting re heeling place. (Incase you don't feel confident enough to do it yourself).

I did mine and dh's (more than once, clumsy twat that he is).
I used a load of bowls, and put each part in a bowl along with its screws, and stacked them in a pile. It meant that when I put it back together again, the bits were in the right order and nothing got lost.
It was a good hour or so to do though, and I needed multiple decent swear words to get through it.
