How to create an app

Does anyone know where I can go to get advice on how to create an app. Something for beginners?

You can also look at sites like Linda.com who have some good tutorial videos/courses and have a fee 10 day trial.

Unless you are learning it helps to start with a problem to solve

You should be able to find an online training course - I did a search on Android and got these results (I've done courses with Udacity and they are great).
