Updating pre school website... but HOW?!

I am on the committee of our local pre-school and we really need to update our website last update was probably around 2011. The problem is that nobody knows how to access the 'editing bit' and the website doesn't say who hosts it so I can't contact them to reset passwords (if that is even an option).

As you can see, I am not in the last bit technical, so any explanations need to be simple please!!

Thanks so much, I didn't know you could do that! The website you linked to didn't work but I found another one which came up with the info about the hosting company. I have emailed them asking them to help out with password reset and how we go about accessing the bit that we need to go to to update. You're a star!
