My laptop is less than 1 yr old but is a pile of pants. I'm going to restore it to factory settings but need to be able to access my documents, photos, videos etc.
Am I right in thinking that I can put documents in my onedrive, photos are saved in the iCloud? Struggling to see where my videos could go/be?
I am dense - so am struggling with this Blush

To be on the safe-side I would just upload everything you need to Dropbox or OneDrive so it's definitely there afterwards. Another option is to dump everything on a USB stick. Or even better, do both!

If you need any help feel free to message me!

Do both.

Dropbox - I didn't think of that thank you!!

I tried to put the photos in onedrive but it says it's only a link to the original location? Will try Dropbox as flash drive was tortuous Grin

Thank you!!

Hope Dropbox works. I'd definitely try to back it up in two places if possible - much safer!

I use Google Drive because it is cheaper than Dropbox for extra storage.
