Our house has some Internet dead spots so I bought the Sky signal booster.....it's pants

Can anyone recommend a good one?

I had the same problem, bought a netgear one from pc world, £30, it sorted it out :)

Do you happen to know which Netgear one? The one I bought from Sky (as we have Sky internet) is so rubbish. There are so many out there it's hard to know which is a good one!

Look at the various powerline adapters available. They use the electrical network in your house to extend the wifi.

It was the netgear wn3000rp-200uks wifi range extender, £28.99. I have sky internet too, after I set it up (which was easy), I put it on the landing and it works brilliantly, well worth the money :)

Our router is a sky one but the sky booster I bought is rubbish unfortunately

Hi you probably need a powerline adapter that also creates a Wi-Fi hotspot - see link above. Wi-Fi boosters basically just throw your poor signal further around the house. We have the ones in the link above, work very well
