Is 16gb enough storage on iPhone 6?

I've just upgraded from iPhone 5 to iPhone 6 16gb. But have realised my 5 was actually 32gb (I thought it was 16gb!)
I'm worried now the 16gb storage on the 6 won't be enough even tho I have 12gb still free on the current iPhone 5
The new phone arrives tomorrow. Will Vodafone exchange it if ask them to?
I don't want to have 'just enough' storage and be forever deleting stuff...

I think you will prob need the next one up if you don't want to keep deleting stuff. I read something the other day saying that apps are getting bigger in size and so are Apple updates, picture quality better on camera so takes more room for photos etc etc
Did you order online? If so you have a 14 day cool off period legally that you can send it back no problems and get them to swap to the larger model.

Maths not your strong point?

I suppose if Apple created a phone with a mini/micro/SD card slot, you would be able to buy extra (cheap) memory if you discovered it wasn't enough. I suppose their way makes them more money though.

Don't know what that's supposed to mean

WMittens means that if you had 12Gb free on your 32Gb iphone, you'd used 20Gb - so the 16Gb on the new one was never going to be enough - assuming you were planning to transfer everything over.

If you like taking photos/videos, not enough.
