I have never had a wifi printer that worked reliably for one machine, let alone multiple ones. I can understand why you want it, and in theory I still want it, but be prepared to spend a lot of time switching it on and off.

I currently have two Canon printers (the one I can see is a MG3150) and neither of them will routinely connect via wifi to any device.

I have worked around it by using a shared dropbox folder to save the required documents, which can then be accessed on the computer attached to the printer by cable.

If you find one that works in real life, please share!!

I have an Epson xp322 works no problem with WiFi for 3 laptops & 2 tablets. . Inks are very very expensive but I use non Epson ones from eBay with no issues.

Our Canon MG3100 happily connects and prints from laptops/smartphones/iPads - best wifi printer we've had.

brother something laser color printer - works pretty well over wifi from 2 laptops and ipads. much better than our old canon. and the color is good and the cartridges much better value than an inkjet.

We have a Brother DCP-9020CDW colour laser printer which wirelessly prints from laptops and a desktop with no problems at all. Theoretically it is able to print from our smartphones too but the app isn't very user friendly so I don't usually bother.

Our HP C6380 All-in-One is good, especially for photocopying. Might be old, now, though!

Oh, and scanning, putting stuff onto a USB stick or SD card etc.

You only need a WiFi printer if you're going to locate it remotely from your router: otherwise you can just run an ethernet cable over.

Brother stuff works well for me in Apple-land (laptops, desktops, iPhones, iPads, the latter two using Airprint without any need to install any extra app). It's now located by the router so has an ethernet cable for simplicity, but it worked fine when it was wireless instead.

I went for hp colour laser jet pro M252dw and I am really happy with it, really simple to set up, my 10 yo managed to find it from her laptop and print her homework without my help.
