Selling iPad

I upgraded my iPad a few months ago and have decided to sell the old one - it's an iPad 4 16gb.

However it obviously has all photos and contacts and books etc on it - how do I wipe myself 'clean' so to speak?

Many thanks :)

Go to Settings - General - Erase all Content and Settings.

Who'd have thought it would be so simple?! Thanks Tea. Just checking - this won't erase things on the new iPad or my phone will it?

No it won't erase everything on your new ipad/iPhone. Just check all the photos you want to keep are safe on the Cloud or Dropbox or wherever.
