Should I buy DH Apple TV now?

Or is a new version coming out soon? Thought it would be a nice surprise for him but can't see if they realign a new version this year or next.

I would wait as there are rumours it will be coming out really soon. They already held it back so I think it will be sooner rather than later.

Our old one gave up weeks ago and we have caved and bought a new one yesterday but it is our only source of TV.
