Hotmail asking for verification

A lovely poster on the Chalet School thread has passed on the login details to a hotmail account containing transcripts of the whole series... however when I try to log in, Hotmail asks to verify my identity (which obviously I cannot as I don't own the account, I've just been given the password). I assumed this is because I'm trying to log in from an IP address outside the UK, but I tried a UK proxy and still couldn't get in.

Is there anything I can do to get in, just once, to copy what I need?

Hotmail will detect log in attempts from different locations, and require verification every time it thinks there is something suspicious.

If the account owner verifies it, and you're one of the first new locations to log in afterwards, you may get through. You might find that being outside the UK triggers verification every time you try, though.

Something like Dropbox would be better for this.
