Internet TV

When watching TV via internet, either catch or the Aamzon TV thing, we keep getting the swirly thing that means the band width isn't sufficient.

We knew our old internet was slow so have upgraded fibre internet and when you run an on-line test, we have great speed, but the TV still keeps dropping out.

What might the problem be?

WiFi may not be the bottleneck. Hard to diagnose problems. Try to make sure the TV device is getting a good signal. If it has an ethernet port, consider making it fixed wire - using powerline adapters if necessary.

Could be a problem with ISPs connection to the video distributor but nothing you can do about that and such issues often get resolved fairly quickly, so if keep getting problems over a period of weeks rather than hours, then probably not that.

Any specific internet services? Which ISP are you using ?

Is it every day, any time of day, or in "daily peak" roughly 17:00 to 22:00 ?

Was "catch" the Google ChromeCast device ? (plugs into HDMI port on TV)
