data only sim

Can anyone recommend a data only sim for a tablet. Will want 1 GB or less. The ones I used to use have gone bust or require you to spend £10 amount per month & I don't really need that much...
I know I can tether but it drops out every time my phone screen goes black & neither perpetual screen tapping nor longer screen on using up battery is ideal.

Dirt cheap and just pay when you need it.

I purchase pre loaded data sims from Ebay. For example a EE 6GB data sim lasting 90 days will cost £14.99 (free postage). Topping up online when the 6 GB has expired is more expensive than simply purchasing a new pre paid sim so I simply stockpile a few pre paid cards so I've always got a new one ready to use. It doesn't sound as though you'd need 6 GB over a 90 day period but the alternative data sim cards available ie "3" give you less data for the same money so you might as well get more data for your money.
