Wifi at home before broadband is connected?

I've just had a message from my broadband provider to say that my new broadband service won't be activated for a fortnight after we move into our new house. What are my options to get online? I'm out of my depth here so any help is much appreciated!

Dongles? What are they? Are they an option? Is there anything you can plug in? I am self employed at home and being offline (however tempting) would ab a disaster...

You need to buy a mifi. Check what phone signals are good in your area and then get a gb data card for that provider. You put that in the mifi.

I've just bought a Huawei mifi unit and then a 6gb ee data card. Bought both from Amazon and it was just under £50. You can then top up the gb as needed.

Yep, mifi and a 4g data sim. Job done. :)
