Which digital camera?

I would like to buy a new digital camera mainly to take photos of the family, holidays and days out. Budget is around £100. Which camera would you buy?

The last camera I had was a Fujifilm and was left a bit disappointed with it - low battery life etc

Have a look at the Canon Ixus range. They go up in price and you might find a good offer.

I have several cameras and this the one I use for everyday out and about. And even my children can use it. Had mine about 2 years and still love it.

Before I bought a DSLR, I had a Pentax. It was a really nice camera. For taking pictures of the kids, a fast shutter need to be your primary concern, so make sure you visit an actual store and are able to test. The first digital camera I bought was so slow that I ended up missing lots!!!
