how do I draw a hexagonal pyramid template to fill in with info like this?

Wordart is the only way. It is supplied as part of word.

Paste the picture into PowerPoint the trace over the lines with straight and dotted lines?

Draw it using a marker pen, scan it in and use text boxes to enter data

select the area of the diagram and copy it, then paste it into Paint.

you can then save it as an image, then edit it using the eraser function in the toolbox.you can get rid of all the text you don't want.

Depends what computer you are using, but also consider photofiltre (I know there's a free version for Windows - it's more powerful, in my view, than Paint, and has plenty of fonts etc available, along with relatively easy controls so you can get straight lines etc)

Its a pdf so I can't copy/paste it. I'm going to go with Katymac's suggestion and if that doesn't work I will have to draw a box pyramid. Thanks again for all the comments

There are ways to copy sections of a pdf. you can use the snapshot tool, or take a snapshot of the whole screen using the keyboard.
