My dear old dad has had to go into a nursing home. There is no landline in his room and he can't walk and has very little use of his hands. Is there any way of making a mobile phone useable for him? The big button ones wouldn't help so I've been wondering if there is a phone which responds to voice commands. I would like him to be able to ring me or other family members if he needs anything and to be able to take calls. Is there a smartphone app which will do this without needing an Internet connection? Google has not been helpful.
