Refurbed iPad 1 or new kindle fire?

I just need a table for watching bbc iplayer fir dd and netflix for me. Poss sone games for DD. Our hudl just died and fecking tesco don't want to help (purchased via 3rd party).

Or any other cheap tablet tbh that works well.

The problem with iPad 1 is that it won't get the newer upgrades, not sure if they've stopped it already.

Samsung tabs are good.

My iPad 2 is struggling with updates and newer websites. I wouldn't get a 1.

Ok, so ipad is out. I am looking at samsung tabs now.

I wouldnt get a kindle I would look at the samsung range which are proper android you get a wider range of apps.

We have iPads, Samsung tablets and a kindle fire in this household and I much prefer iPads, but 2nd would be Samsung. I really don't like Kindle fire.

Definitely not ipad 1 because it's stopped getting upgrades and it does have an affect on what downloads and apps.
