Gamer laptop needed

No idea if that's even a thing....

Ds2 is 11, we are going to buy a laptop for his homework but he loves minecraft and other computer based games so it has to be good for that use as well

Ds1 has a HP envy 6 (I think) which when we bought it 2/3 years ago was all singing and dancing and probably more than he needed. He now only uses it for homework

Dd has a HP laptop as well but it's a lower spec model as she just needs it for homework

Any recommendations? We are looking a HP pavilion 15 p157sa but I didn't know whether that would be any good

We would rather have a windows one if that makes any difference

I would take your DS to your local computer shop, get him to explain what he needs it for and get a quote, compare the spec to various makes and buy one. HP are good but tend to have unimpressive advertising.
