weird font on google chrome

google chrome seems to have suddenly acquired a weird font, seems smaller and a bit crap looking. any ideas how to fix? zoom is on 100%

On all sites or just one?

most sites are ok, but facebook is affected and the google search page

Ah, both of those have changed fonts recently hence why I asked. Looks weird, doesn't it? You get used to it though.
