I backed up all my photos on an external drive. Almost all taken with same camera. Now trying to load onto new Mac. Viewed photos in iPhoto direct from the drive just fine. But when we copied them across to the Mac itself and opened in iPhoto, some don't appear. We just get a palm tree symbol in place of some of the photos. And it is seemingly random as well. Any thoughts please?
