MP3 player for a 5 yo?

My DS soon to be 5 loves music and audio books . In the olden days I would have bought him a fisher price cassette player with headphones so he could listen in bed (shares a room with DD ).

However I guess nowadays he would be best off with an MP3 player . Has anyone got one for their young child? Anything to bear in mind ?

I am a big fan of Philips. Check out the Argos ebay page. Last Christmas I got dd a new one (she had an ipod shuffle that was crapola, broke after less than a year) 4GB for £11.99. Got dp one as well. His was a bit more snazzy, but a whole £17.99.
