Why did I install iOS 8? So irritated by its crapness!

When I close and open the browser it's clunky and takes ages to load the page. When I type, it's umresponsive and slow. Facebook and email keep crashing. The direction arrows at the top of the browser keep vanishing.
It's SLOW!!

Is there any way I can get rid of it and go back to ios 7?

What's so weird with this, apart from the age it takes to load, the frozen screens and really awful predictive text, is that it keeps loading up really random pages.
I will click on a link or try and load a page from favourites and something else completely unrelated to what i am doing will appear. Sometimes my page has loaded , I am on it and then suddenly another completely random page will load . Why?
