I have no option to upgrade to ios 8 on the iPad 2 or on my iphone 5.

Normally it just appears in settings. Is there a reason?

Do you see the update if you go to Settings- General- Software Update? My iPad Air and iPhone 5 don't show it unless I look for it - and on the iPhone it doesn't have the space to do it on wifi, I will update via iTunes when I get round to it.

Are you sure you want to upgrade your ipad2. I regret doing it. make sure you do an iTunes or iCloud backup beforehand.

I don't want to upgrade the iPad just my phone eventually. Definitely not in settings I just said about the iPad as well because it's not just my phone

So what happens when you check software update on your iPad??

You can also update by plugging your devices into iTunes.

Is your phone connected to your wifi. You can update over 3G but it would be slow and use a lot of data.

Wish I hadn't bothered. cartoon hd is now dead and keyboard is vair slow.

If I check the settings there is nothing there. I don't have iTunes on the PC because the PC is my DSs (bought by a charity because he's disabled) and I don't use it for things for me.

When you open settings and then press the tab that says General there should be a tab called Software update. It's the second tab from the top. Is it there? What happens if you press it?
