dh just got iPhone , ds already has iPod Touch, registered to same iTunes account as are several other ipods. Can we stop the apps dh buys from automatically downloading from the cloud onto the ipod ? If ds deletes them from his ipod could it affect those already on the iPhone ?

Go to settings > down to itunes and App Store > automatic downloads, the tick boxes there will stop it happening, deleting an app from once device won't delete it on an other

thank you . Just check ipod touch and automatic downloads was off ds said he tried to get BBC iplayer app from the cloud and got all the others dh had downloaded at that sitting so maybe something he did after all!
