How do I get my keyboard back to how it was?

I was doing some work on my laptop whilst watching tv tonight and think I got distracted. I think I held down the shift key too long and now my keyboard isn't typing properly.

Anyone know how to get it back?

The numbers and symbol keys all type the equivalent of that key plus the shift key, eg if I type a comma the screen says <

Any ideas? I've tried holding the shift key down again and it comes up with something about filter keys but I still can't work out how to switch it back.

Are you using windows? It sounds like 'sticky keys'... I think you can turn it on/off under the accessibility options in control panel if that makes any sense to you?

Oh thank you, that seems to have worked :)
